Alipur Chattha is a Union Council and a Town in Tehsil Wazirabad, District Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Alipur Chattha is a historical place in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Sikh Empire remnants are also located in this area, which improves the importance of this place.

It was founded in 1867 as a railway town. The old name of Ali Pur Chattha was Akalgarh, which was a well-known town in past even at the time of the Sikh Empire. In the old town, there were small shops which provide needed products, few small houses with large families, and the main gate for entrance to Alipur Chattha was known as Paki Deohri.

Before the partition of Indo-Pak people of three different religion were lived here Muslims, Hindu, and Sikh, but Muslims were in the majority. So, due to partition Hindu and Sikh leave it.

The main road which is linked to this city is Gujranwala. Alipur Chattha Highway is main connection to the road for this city. Stationery and other conditions of city are well developed. A lot of big and small Shops and some newly developed Shopping markets full fill the needs of local and other nearby village peoples.

The government have invested a good amount for providing batter educational benefits to the students of Ali Pur Chattha. They build Government Institutes of education like School, Collage for boys and girls at degree level. A Government Hospital is also functional for the treatment of people. Some MBBs Doctors are hired there. But still, people move for treatment to big cities; like Gujranwala, and Lahore.
