American school basketball season
The 1997–98 Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball crew represented Oklahoma State College as a member of the Giant 12 Convention right through the 1997–98 NCAA Department I males’s basketball season. They have been led by means of Eighth-year head trainer Eddie Sutton and performed their house video games at Gallagher-Iba Area in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They completed the season 22–7, 11–5 in Giant 12 play to complete in a tie for 2d position. The Cowboys misplaced to Texas within the quarterfinals of the Giant 12 Event. The crew gained an at-large bid to the NCAA Event because the No. 8 seed within the Southeast area. Oklahoma State defeated George Washington within the opening spherical sooner than shedding to No. 1 seed Duke in the second one spherical.
