Pakistan’s positive rate rose again, a record 2.3%

ISLAMABAD: In the last 24 hours, 27 new deaths have been reported from corona virus in Pakistan.

Figures from the National Command and Operations Center show that 42,062 tests were performed on June 29, of which 979 tested positive for Covid 19.

The country’s positive rate has risen again to 2.3%.

In the last 24 hours, 27 more people have died of corona virus in Pakistan, bringing the national death toll to 22,281.

Sindh had the highest number of deaths in the last 24 hours, followed by Punjab with 13 deaths out of 27 deaths in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 31,606 active cases of CoVID 19 in Pakistan.

According to the province-wise breakdown, there were 11,852 active cases in Sindh, 17,218 in Punjab, 9,525 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,900 in Islamabad Capital Territory, 746 in Balochistan, 360 in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. There are 461 in Kashmir.
