Former South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs praised former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir in an interview with Cricket Pakistan, who he described as an “incredible opponent”.

The 47-year-old, who coached Aamir as the head coach of the Karachi Kings franchise in HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six, revealed that he always thought the pacer was special.

“They [Mohammad Amir] He is a great bowler, I know him now. Obviously, I played against it years ago. I always thought he was special. He lived in the desert for a few years. No one understands his bowling skills as much as he does. He is an incredible competitor. I have seen this with Karachi Kings. He is very proud of his bowling. Gibbs said he always gives her 120% best in every game.

The former prosthesis batsman said that Aamir always gave his all for any team he represents.
