Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s national airline said on Wednesday that passengers who received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine would now be allowed to travel on domestic flights.
The new terms for the two-dose vaccine are effective today (September 1).
However, children under the age of 12 will be exempt from this travel condition.
According to Saudi Arabian media, authorities have advised passengers to check their status using the Tawakalkana app before booking tickets.
Earlier in August, Saudi Arabia eased COVID-19 restrictions on fully vaccinated residents, allowing them to travel directly to the country from countries facing travel bans, including Pakistan.
