Pochettino ended Neymar-Embape’s fall.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed media reports of a feud between Kelin Mbabane and Neymar during a 2-0 League 1 win over Montpellier over the weekend.

French media reported that Mbabane was unhappy with Neymar for not giving the ball and that France International was seen expressing his displeasure with a teammate on the bench at the time.

“They’re great guys. That’s what happens,” Pochettino told reporters ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League game against Manchester City.

“There are always things between the top players. They are the rivals who want to win and help the team win.

“I’ve talked to them individually. They must have talked to each other and there are pictures of them enjoying the training.

“Sometimes there is a small incident that can create a wave but that’s just the thing.”

Pochettino recently defended his decision to replace forward Lionel Messi in his league win over Olympique Lyonnais, with the Argentine appearing upset.

The manager told a news conference on Monday that he was expected to play a role against Messi City but that his transfer from Barcelona would take time to adjust to life in Paris.

PSG drew their Group AK opener 1-1 at Club Bridge while City beat RB Leipzig 6-3.
