Juventus are based on Chelsea’s win in the Turin derby.

The Juventus are in an unusual position to stay behind city rivals Torino in the Serie A table, but in recent weeks they have begun to find some momentum.

Massimiliano Allegri’s season was a nightmare as he struggled to regain the title he had lost to Inter Milan last time out.

The unbeaten run of five matches, which helped holders hold Chelsea to a stunning Champions League victory at midweek on Saturday, has raised hopes that the Old Lady has changed a corner.

“We showed the spirit of Juventus tonight, and that’s what the coach asks us,” winger Federico Chesa told Amazon after scoring Wednesday’s winning goal.

Joe had to rally late to qualify for the Champions League, finishing fourth last season under Andrea Perlo, and his bid for the 10th Squadron never came off the field.

The return of Allegri, who led the club to five consecutive titles from 2015-2019 and two Champions League finals as a coach in their previous spell, was expected to end the Turin Giants’ woes.

The Juventus found themselves stuck on the wrong end of the table after four matches, and the campaign still has a Serie A clean sheet.

But the old defensive commitment was against Chelsea as the European champions failed to create a clear chance despite dominating the occupation.

Further, Joe has a potential future star in Euro 2020 winner Chisa.

The 23-year-old was criticized by Allegri after a slow start to the season, but his manager believes he could become a striker.

“He’s not 100 percent at all and this was the first real time he played as a center forward,” Allegri said. “I told Federico my assessment was that he could play as a center forward or a support striker.”

Juventus are unbeaten in their last 14 encounters with Torino, whose recent derby victory was a 2-1 victory, also at the Studio Olympico in Torino in April 2015.

Joe is 10th behind Torino in terms of goals scored.

Nigerian striker Osman has endured his first injury-plagued season in Naples in 2020-21, but he has started the current campaign in excellent form.

The 22-year-old still netted 10 times last season but has been steadily improving and has netted seven times in his last five games.

10 – Juventus goals in six league games this season. They have kept the sheets back to back in Europe.
