Muhammad Bilal Butt (Urdu: محمد بلال بٹ) is a Social Worker, Pakistani student politician, and Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since 2018. He belongs to Ahmad Nagar Chattha. In 2015 Muhammad Bilal compete in local government elections in the union council of Ahmad Nagar Chattha, tehsil Wazirabad, District Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. In this general election for the local government body, he was elected as General Counsel from the union council of Ahmad Nagar Chattha ward no 4.
2015 Local Government Election
In the 2015 general election for local government in Punjab, Muhammad Bilal Butt was elected General Counsel to the union council of Ahmad Nagar Chattha ward no 4. He was an independent politician and compete with candidates of Jamaat-e-Islam (JI), Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN), and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He won with 16493 votes by defeating the Jamaat-e-Islam candidate. Just a few days before the election member of the PAT announced support for Bilal the elections and after the election, Bilal Butt joins the PAT.
To win this position he did a lot of efforts to compete in this election. He and his family put all their efforts to build new structures in Ahmad Nagar streets. According to the resources, Bilal helps poor people to get their daughters married with finical support.
On the other end, for free computer and technical education, Bilal requested Umair Ahmad the founder of the Youth Institute of Technology. Latter on his request the YIT start free classes for computer training on the Ahmad Nagar campus.
2018 Pakistani general election
In the Pakistani general election of 2018, Muhammad Bilal Butt was elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab (MPA of Punjab Assembly). He was elected MPA from Constituency PP-52 (Gujranwala-II), being the ticket holder of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN). Muhammad Bilal Butt defeated Muhammad Ahmad Chattha a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Bila received 55159 votes and was the first time elected the MPA of the Punjab Assembly from Constituency PP-52 (Gujranwala-II).
On the other end, Muhammad Ahmad Chattha of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) received 54097 votes, Syed Shahbaz Haider of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) received 5438 votes, Qasim Shah Muhammad of Tehreek-e-Labbaik (TLP) received 4803 votes, Ansar Javed Tararr of Allah-o-Akbar Tehreek (AAT) received 1690 votes, Javed Iqbal of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) received 1502 votes, Mirza Taqi Ali of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) received 1314 votes, and Rana Saqib of Pakistan Rah-e-Haq Party (PRHP) received 1305 votes.
