Japan says China, Russia jets flew nearby as Quad met

TOKYO: Chinese language and Russian fighter jets performed joint flights over the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea on Tuesday as leaders of the Quad bloc met in Tokyo, Japan’s defence minister stated.

Nobuo Kishi stated Tokyo had expressed “grave considerations” to Russia and China over the flights, which happened whilst leaders from america, India, Australia and Japan held talks on regional safety.

“Two Chinese language bombers joined two Russian bombers within the Sea of Japan and made a joint flight to the East China Sea,” Kishi informed newshounds.
