The incubation period of COVID-19 is thought to be between one and 14 days. It is contagious before symptoms appear which is why so many people get infected. The infected person may be asymptomatic meaning they do not show any symptoms despite having the virus in their systems. Most people got infected by virus severely and they need hospitalization. Preventions are very important to stop the spread of any disease. As Covid 19 is transmitted through large respiratory droplets and direct or indirect contact with the infected patient it is necessary to take care as much as a person can. Transmission of the disease can also occur by going to crowded places, close contact with people.

Prevention is better than cure. Till now there is no such vaccine to deal with coronavirus. It can only possible by taking precautionary measures given by WHO. Common recommendations for preventing the spread of infection include frequent hand washing, covering the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, and cooking meat and eggs thoroughly.

Avoid contact with anyone who shows signs of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing. Avoid touching mouth and nose. Wear medical mask every time when going outside. The best way to prevent and delay the transmission of information is to better understand the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using alcohol regularly and without touching your face.

Coronavirus is still there. We should take is seriously and to take care of our health and our love ones. It is a deadly virus. We should deal with it with courage and wisely. Anyone who feels illness must isolate themselves and to take precautions by drinking warm water, having fruits which can boost immunity, sanitize hands regularly, and wear a mask even if they are at home. If the condition goes critical seek medical advice. May Allah help us to cope with this pandemic and bring normality in our lifestyle. Aameen
