Realme 2 Pro is A Great Phone in the Mid-Range Segment

The very first phone from Realme, I.e. the Realme 1 was a great phone according to its price. Realme has made a huge name for itself in the Indian market because of its good phones on affordable prices. But it had not presence in Pakistan. This changed few weeks back as Realme officially launched in Pakistan by releasing two smartphones, the Realme C1 and the 2 Pro.

Realme 2 is a great phone at a low price point and some of its coolest features will be reviewed below.

Design and Display

The overall look of the device is really sleek. The body of the phone has been made out of polycarbonate, which surely is a fancy name for plastic. The popular diamond back pattern which was on the original Realme 1 is not more present. The new design is pretty decent, calmer and subtler.

As far as the display of the device is concerned, the phone packs a 6.3-inch display which is basically an IPS LCD panel having a resolution of 1080 x 2340 which is commonly referred to as a Full HD+ display. It has an odd-looking aspect ratio of 19.5:9, thanks to a dear drop notch on the top of the phone.

The display is bright and offers plenty of brightness control which makes the phone easier to use in the dark as well as in direct sunlight.

Performance

As far as the performance of the device is concerned, Realme 2 Pro features a Snapdragon 660 processor. There is an option available of 6/8 GB RAM and 64/128 GB of ROM in Pakistan.

Moreover, if the massive storage of 128 GB is not enough for you, the phone houses a dedicated microSD card slot as well which supports card up to 256 GB of storage.

Furthermore, if you decide that 128GB of internal storage is still not enough, there’s also a dedicated microSD card slot available which allows you to expand the storage by up to 256GB.

Camera

Let’s jump right now into the flashy stuff i.e. the cameras. The main camera sensor is a 16MP camera with an aperture of f/1.7. This back camera is coupled by a 2MP secondary camera to take portrait shots.

The dual back camera setup performs really well and takes great photos even in low light. The photos taken in the day light are vibrant and have great dynamic range.
