FIA alerted; Sindh govt took bribes from traders

The govt of Sindh has alerted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to a web smear campaign aimed toward sabotaging the provincial leadership’s efforts and response to the coronavirus pandemic. In a letter to the FIA, Sindh government spokesperson Senator Murtaza Wahab alerted the authority of the social media campaign against the provincial leadership, saying that audio clips and videotapes with fake claims were deliberately spread on social media. Two more cases of polio report in Pakistan

Two more cases of polio were found within the country over the weekend, taking the tally for the year to 41. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), Sindh and Balochistan have reported one case each. In Sindh, a 14-month-old boy contracted the poliovirus in Kingri Tehsil of Khairpur district. “The child from Balochistan is an eight-month-old male boy in Bazar-i-Kona union council of Pishin district.
