Press Release Publishing Terms and Conditions

The Youth International has the right to refuse the publication of any press release that does not comply with the following guidelines. In the case of refusal, full refunds will be issued.

Editorial Requirements

Language

All press releases that are submitted for Wholesale press release distribution must be in English.

Poor Headlines

The headline lacks a news angle and/or attribution to the source distributing the press release.

Advertisement or SPAM

The press release reads like an advertisement or SPAM. Examples of these words and phrases include FREE, “Make Money”, “Don’t miss this opportunity!”, SALE!!!!

Poor Newsworthiness

The press release does not have sufficient news value for distribution.

Poor Writing Quality

The press release is poorly written and/or does not make sense. It is written in narratives outside the format of a press release (e.g., advertisements, articles, listicles, blogs, op-eds, or feature pieces, with first or second person and non-objective narratives).

Lack of Credible Contact Information

The press release contains incomplete or lacks credible contact information.

Keyword Spamming

Blatantly excessive keywords or phrases in the headline and body of the press release.

Prohibited Content

The press release contains prohibited content, which may include the following:

  • Investment opportunities: Content containing investment opportunities, financial services and similar. See additional restrictions for financial services companies.
  • Personal Opinions: Content intended to harm or exact personal revenge against a person or group.
  • Blog Posts: General interest articles, “open letters”, and similar content usually lack attribution and/or news value.
  • Defamatory or Intent to Harm: Content intended to incite, advocate, or express hatred, bigotry, racism, or gratuitous violence; promote personal opinions attacking an individual or group; maliciously affect a company’s stock; or stalk, defame, defraud, degrade, shame, or victimize an individual or group.
  • Sexually Explicit Content: References or links to explicitly sexual material, illegal material, or profane language.
  • Comparisons: Unauthorized use of another company’s/entity’s/products for comparison.
  • Opinions and Advice: Advice or investment opinions, including promises of profit/revenue/income, passive income, an advantage in investment/playing/earning, or increases of wealth/savings.
  • Medical/Health Content: Unreviewed, unregulated, or unsubstantiated health supplements, medicine, surgical treatments, or pharmaceuticals that claim to prevent or cure COVID-19 or any other illness or condition. This includes supplements for sexual enhancement, dietary/weight-loss supplements, and the like.
  • Expected Purpose of Release: Press releases must convey an announcement or message from an identifiable entity and identify the source and purpose in the first paragraph.
  • Get Rich Schemes: Content about how to get rich, networking marketing, and MLM schemes.
  • Piggybacking: Unauthorized use of another issuer’s name and/or ticker symbol.
  • Celebrity Mentions: Unauthorized use of a celebrity’s name and likeness. Authorized consent and/or documentation must be provided from a verifiable contact such as a legal representative, estate, or management team.
  • Self-Promotion: Content on self-promotion to boost an individual’s profile is deemed non-newsworthy.
  • Unsubstantiated Claims: Unreviewed, unregulated, and unsubstantiated claims for medicine, surgical treatment, or devices that can prevent or cure COVID-19.
  • Inappropriate Associations: Content that implies false official government association.
  • Unapproved Home Testing Kits: Content that promotes home testing kits for medical conditions that have not received Regulatory Clearance and Approval.
  • Press release promotion: Content that directly promotes press release distribution services.

Disclaimer on refunds and edits

By submitting a press release to The Youth International, you acknowledge and agree that all submissions are final and non-refundable. Once a press release is submitted and approved for publication, no changes, edits, or modifications can be made. The Youth International is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained within the submitted press release. The responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the content rests solely with the submitter. No refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the publication, errors in the content, or changes in the press release after submission.

Additional restrictions for financial services companies for Premium releases

We are no longer be able to disseminate content for trading/financial entities on Premium releases.

Additional restrictions for Basic releases

The following topics are not allowed within the Basic press release package. Some may be allowed in the Premium package with certain disclaimers and limitations. Please contact us with questions before placing an order.

  • Marijuana/cannabis
  • Buying or Selling or initial coin offering (ICO) or trading of Crypto Currency or Coins or tokens related content is not allowed only blockchain technology base content is allowed.
  • Politics
  • Explosives
  • Guns
  • Weapons
  • Alcohol
  • Illicit Drugs
  • Tobacco
  • Cosmetic procedures and body modification
  • Dating
  • Adult and Sex
  • Sexual reproductive
  • Music video/audio, podcast, etc. with parental advisory/explicit content warning label
  • Pseudo-Religious articles, trinkets (amulets, bands, bracelets, charms, magic, etc.)
  • Obscenities, vulgarity and abusive language
  1. Adult / nudity or relevant content.
  2. Betting / gambling or relevant content.
  3. Buying likes, followers and views for social media websites.
  4. HopLinks, affiliate marketing links or relevant websites selling products / ebooks on get-rich quick schemes, FOREX trading, proven/unproven medical alternatives and protocols. (including weight-loss products and nutritional supplements like garcinia cambogia, forskolin & etc).
  5. Website Links flagged as potential malware threats.
  6. Music video/audio, podcast, etc. with parental advisory/explicit warning.
  7. Content related to Payday Loans / Credit scores / reports / ratings
  8. Content related to Bail Bonds
  9. Content with derogatory statements about other companies.
  10. Erectile dysfunction & related or breast enhancement/enlargement or even the massage centers.
  11. Phone unlock content.

Additional Guidelines for Law Firms

  1. Primarily, we cannot issue releases about specific class-actions/litigation wherein the issuer is soliciting clients/interest in their lawsuit.
  2. We can disseminate releases wherein the issuer announces they have filed a suit/case, if the intent is to inform the public of the case; however, we would need proof of the case’s status, for example a case number we can look up.
  3. We can issue any releases where the focus is on a corporate update from a law firm, for example a new office, a new lawyer being appointed, an award being received, etc., but we would still need to remove any sections soliciting clients for a case.

Additional Guidelines for Crypto Assets

These guidelines are in place for crypto assets in addition to the general guidelines above.

Listed on CoinMarketCap (CMC)

All crypto assets must be listed on CoinMarketCap as a Tracked Listing or ICO. This includes NFTs, platforms, wallets, and exchanges.

NFT Projects & Collections

CoinMarketCap uses data partners to list verified NFTs. NFTs must be listed as a Tracked Listing or Verified NFT on at least one of the data partners used by CoinMarketCap. For a list of Data Partners, please visit https://coinmarketcap.com/nft/.

Mining Rigs, Cloud Miners, and Farming

Press releases regarding mining rigs, cloud miners, crypto farms, or farming are NOT accepted on our network.

Crypto Scam Recovery Services

Press releases regarding recovery services, theft asset recovery, and scam recovery are NOT accepted on our network.

Verified Contact

A verifiable contact person and corresponding contact information need to be provided with every press release.

Bitcoin Mixers, Bitcoin Tumblers, Cryptocurrency Tumblers, and Cryptocurrency Mixing Services

Press releases regarding bitcoin mixers/services, bitcoin/cryptocurrency tumblers, and cryptocurrency mixing services are NOT accepted on our network.

Copyright Infringement

Tokens or NFTs that infringe on existing copyright laws will not be allowed. This pertains to tokens using copyrighted or trademarked names as well as their likeness to benefit themselves.

Crypto ETFs

Crypto ETFs will need to have a tracked listing on CoinMarketCap.
