Introduction

The purpose of this report is to outline the process and impact of a community development project focused on installing a water cooler for school students and local vendors. The project is made possible through a generous donation from an angel investor MR. Muhammad Irfan seeks to contribute to the betterment of the local community. This report provides an overview of the project’s objectives, implementation strategy, outcomes, and recommendations for future accomplishments.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the project were as follows:

• To improve access to clean drinking water for students and staff at the school and vendors.
• To promote a healthy and hygienic learning environment.
• To enhance community engagement and sustain a sense of collective responsibility.
• To create a sustainable model for future community development initiatives.
• Promote community engagement and social cohesion.

Methodology

The project was executed using the following methodology: 

• Identifying the Need: Initial research and consultations with school administrators, teachers, and students were conducted to identify the need for a water cooler and determine its optimal location within the school premises but then luckily we found a place where street vendors and the local public can also take advantage from this cooler along with the students and school staff.
• Seeking Angel Investor Donation: Efforts were made to find an investor willing to contribute funds for the project as a donation, emphasizing the positive impact on the community and the educational environment. 
• Collaboration with School Administration: Close coordination was maintained with the school administration, teachers, and angel investors to ensure their involvement and support throughout the project. 
• Installation and Maintenance: The water cooler was sourced, purchased, and professionally installed by a reputable supplier. 

Outcomes and Impact

The implementation of the water cooler project resulted in several positive outcomes:

• Improved Access to Clean Water: Students and staff gained easy access to clean and hygienic drinking water, promoting their health and well-being.
• Enhanced Learning Environment: The availability of a water cooler on-site reduced disruption caused by students leaving classrooms to obtain water from distant sources.
• Community Engagement: The project created a platform for community engagement by involving school admin, including students, teachers, and local residents.
• Environmental Sustainability: The water cooler encouraged the use of reusable water bottles, reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainable practices within the school community.
