Yvone Magalhães Duarte (born 26 August 1963 in Boa Vista, Brazil) is a is a seventh level Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt practitioner and teacher. The primary girl to succeed in the rank of black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Duarte is regarded as the martial artwork’s principal feminine pioneer. Yvone Magalhães Duarte grew up within the the town of Boa Vista within the Brazilian Amazon state of Roraima.
